I spent this Easter Holiday with friends in Orlando. It was their daughter Sophia’s 9th birthday and we celebrated by going to the theme parks. Taking this trip reminded me of the sheer childhood joy and excitement I experienced when picked up from school early so that my family and I could make it to Disney World before the sun set, and the utter disappointment of how long the four-hour drive seemed. Getting this website together has felt a little like that. Selecting my favorite images echoed the tough choice of packing either my powder pink terry-cloth romper and the “my little pony” visor or my red denim dress and sun hat for my picture with Minnie Mouse. I couldn’t wait to spin like crazy in a silly teacup or to take flight with Peter Pan in the same way I cannot wait to e-blast all my family, friends and clients the link to this site and share my work with them. But, this is taking forever! So, as I get closer to a finished project, I have to ask the question … “Are we there yet?”
